Our Process
1. Discovery Phase
In this phase we look at what the vehicle is being used for and take into account the desired vehicle make and model for the job.
By looking at past fitouts and our range of modular products, we can assemble a fit-for-purpose vehicle fitout spec for the specific job role.
With sales representation and demonstration vehicles that travel nation-wide, we are able to present solutions at Head Office and Branch Level. This helps with team buy-in and information gathering.
2. Design and Compliance Phase
At this stage, our design team puts together detailed drawings of the specifications we have built up.
In addition, the weight balance of the vehicle is checked and an Axle Weight report is produces. This report comes from a tool that allows us to look at different scenarios that the vehicle may be exposed to and ensures that it remains fit-for-purpose. This way you have an understanding of the vehicles GVM and axle weights before even considering the vehicle purchase.
With our experience across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers and accessories, we can make recommendations on industry best practice for common issues such as maintaining ANCAP compliance, ADR/NZTA compliant GVM upgrades and more.
3. Presentation
The final presentation includes a full CAD drawing, fitouts specification itemised with pricing and weights for each item, and an axle weight analysis.

4. Manufacturing – Welding
We manufacture our fitout solutions incorporating LEAN principles right throughout our production line. This means ensuring that all components are up to standard before proceeding along the production line to the next station.
Our LEAN philosophy means we maximise our pre build of fitout components, to minimise the amount of time we require the vehicle to be off the road, in our fitting bay.
5. Manufacturing – Powdercoating
Once the welding component is complete, it then heads to the powdercoating plant, where it is prepped and coated, then sent to the bake oven.
Once your service body has passed the powdercoating quality checks, it heads into the pre-assembly area to have the internal fitout installed and the doors fitted.
6. Manufacturing – Fitting
Once the pre-fitting work is completed, it is then moved to the fitting workshop, where the vehicle is brought in to and our mechanical fitters begin the install onto the vehicle.
The service bodies / flat decks are bolted onto the vehicle chassis mounts, and the wiring is connected to the loom in the cab, using a deutsch plug system.
Once the install is complete, the vehicle then moves through to the QA stage to undergo final checks.
7. Quality Assurance
All fitouts leaving our fitting workshop undergo a 2 stage QA process.
Fitouts are given an initial check by a peer in the install team, then are moved to our dedicated QA bay, where they undergo a robust 100-point QA check by our QA officer.
Any defects picked up here are graded and reported back for remedy before the vehicle receives its final sign off and is released.
8. Fitout Serial Number
After each vehicle is QA’d it is then weighed, this is recorded in our system and a serial number plate is added to the vehicle – this records the fitout serial number, vehicle weights, the fitout date and the vehicle vin/rego.
